A Colorado native, Debbie has worked in the US and Scotland. She is a world traveller, and is currently enjoying the beautiful countryside of Northern California.
Debbie draws on her life experiences to create powerful works of art that reflect her understanding of the joy and pain we all feel through our lives. She is also highly influenced by the patterns and colors that nature reveals to us.
Debbie completed her Associates Degree at the Colorado Institute of Art. She studied embroidered collage techniques at Heriot Watt University, and screen printing fabric at the University of Edinburgh – both in Scotland.
Her previous career in graphic design and branding spans 30+ years, including print, Web and interactive multimedia. Debbie is an accomplished pastel artist, and writes poetry on occasion.
