Those who cannot see judge.

“She is cold.”

“She is weaker than us, because we do not understand her.”

“She believes,” they say, “that she is better than us.”

“She is selfish, and the vessel for our sins.”

They think “She can bear it. She will clean up our mess.”

Those who cannot see don’t realize it is the dark that blinds them.

Those who see receive.

“She is warm.”

“She is generous, beautiful and exuberant.”

They admire her passion for equality, adventure, and Spirit.

They acknowledge her strength, and seek her company to laugh and to learn.

What they see is the light within themselves.
